Sea 2 Sky Energy UK Ltd. was founded by Mr. Richard Walton, its current managing Director, and driving force behind the Company.

Mr. Walton is a University trained Engineer, with 30 years experience in the Logging, sawmilling, timber and development businesses.

Recognizing the need for alternative fuels and more “carbon neutral” heat and power sources, he set out to identify the best of the current technologies and manufacturing opportunities.

He brings a wealth of technical expertise and is one of the leading experts on the subject of Biomass Valorization through pre-treatment technologies.

Commercial and legal support is undertaken by the Commercial Director, Mr. John Walker.

Mr. Walker is a Solicitor with many years of independent practice in a broad variety of areas of Law. John is responsible for all matters relating to legal, commercial and financial, and works on a part-time basis for the Company. He believes the adage that “we don’t inherit this earth from our parents - we borrow it from our children”.

International Development is undertaken by Mr. Ira Steiner.

Mr. Steiner has, through his family, been involved in forestry in Austria for virtually all of his life. He has seen his career transition from manufacturing, to design and build of sawmill facilities, to international trading of forest products. With an intimate knowledge of the industry that stretches 25 years, to his carefree ways, Mr. Steiner brings many strengths to Sea 2 Sky UK Ltd.
